We’re All Poets, Really: Developing an Emotionally Healthy Faith

How should we relate to God at an emotional level? What role do our emotions play in our discipleship to Jesus? Many of us know how to interact with God intellectually and theologically, but struggle to do so at an emotional level.

This is where biblical poetry can be so very helpful to us. Poetry in the Bible helps us emote well when it comes to our faith. It gives us language for the things we’re feeling, but don’t yet know how to articulate. And in the process, it helps us understand God and ourselves a lot better.

But all of that hinges on our ability to understand and interpret biblical poetry well. This series takes five weeks to do just that.
