LifeGroups

LifeGroups, practically speaking, are how we become a Jesus-centered family on mission. They are the core of our church family. We are not a church with LifeGroups, but rather a church of LifeGroups.

LifeGroups are not simply friend groups, bible studies, accountability groups, or Sunday School classes–although they include elements of all of those things. LifeGroups are groups where people can experience life together. LifeGroups eat together, hang out together, study the Scriptures together, and do plenty of other things together too.

If you're a follower of Jesus, LifeGroups are a great way to grow in your discipleship to him. If you're not a follower of Jesus, LifeGroups are a great way to discover what the teachings of Jesus are all about up close. Either way, we'd love for you to experience one of our LifeGroups.

Want to Join a LifeGroup?

The avenue to joining a LifeGroup is a course we call LifeGroup Basics. It is a four-week course where participants learn about the culture of a LifeGroup and learn how to embody it together.

Upcoming Basics Classes:

Below you’ll find the upcoming instances of LifeGroup Basics. If no classes are listed below, contact Colton about when the next round of Basics will be offered.

  • “Our LifeGroup has been a huge blessing for our family! We had a baby three months after joining our group, and members poured into our family in a way we never expected. To have a community you can trust and rely on in times of need is such a gift.”

    Meredith

  • “We found a tight circle of friends and a community willing to show up for each other in our LifeGroup within months of moving to Knoxville. Through our LifeGroup, we have been given opportunities to be that same friend to others.”

    Kirby

  • “Our LifeGroup is what I imagine the New Testament church might have been like. We gather to study Scripture, pray, and encourage one another.  Everyone is willing to give unselfishly of their time, money, talents, gifts, or whatever the need may be to serve our brothers and sisters in Christ.”

    Lori

  • "My wife and I realized that only showing up for Sunday was not giving us the time to harness new friendships we so desired. Joining a LifeGroup was an easy decision, and I’m blessed to have built so many genuine relationships within the last five months."
