Adulting: The Talks No One Gave Us About Growing Up
Most of us grew up watching TV fathers have “talks” with their kids: Danny Tanner on Full House, Carl Winslow on Family Matters, the Cunninghams on Happy Days. These talks were patient, unhurried–and most importantly, full of wisdom. It was like they always knew what to say.
But if we’re completely honest: many of us never got the real version of those talks. Some of us just Googled it, and hoped for the best.
Adulting is a seven-week series of talks on the topics that shape every stage of adult life: work, friendship, time, dating, money, marriage, and parenting. Whether you're 23 and just starting out, 45 and in the middle of it all, or 60 and realizing these questions are still there…there's a seat at the table for you.
Each week of this series tackles one of adulthood’s most important topics. Join us as we take on the conversations most of us are still waiting to have (or still need to hear again).
