A year of leveraging our time and effort helping others become more like Jesus.
We all want to change. Those who have genuinely followed Jesus for any length of time want to be come more like him. The question we is how? How, exactly, do we grow and mature in our faith? What does it look like to invest, and be invested in, so we become a more mature, rooted, Jesus-like person over time?
Those are the questions we hope to answer in 2026, during Year of Discipleship. We'll take the year to teach, train, equip and encourage our church in the direction of whole-life discipleship to Jesus. Not to mention leveraging our time, energy and efforts to help others become more like Jesus, too.
Just like with most things, it’s difficult to know how to get where you want to go without knowing where you currently are. Below you’ll find a simple Guide to Spiritual Stages.

Understanding Discipleship
Guide to Spiritual Stages
By discerning what “stage” of discipleship you’re currently in, you know what you most need, what others most need from you, and how to best participate in helping yourself and others take the next step towards Jesus.
To help clarify where you are in that process, we’ve put together this Guide to Spiritual Stages. Spiritual stages give language to the various steps in a person’s discipleship to Jesus. While no system can comprehensively describe what often varies from person to person, we find the following language to be helpful for most people in their discipleship to Jesus.
Teaching Series:
A church is only as good as its disciples. Before he ascended into heaven, after his resurrection, Jesus gave his disciples one overarching task: go and make more disciples.
This series takes six weeks to explore Jesus’ invitation to make disciples, and walk through the various components of how it happens. Find the teachings from our Year of Discipleship series below as they occur…
The Podcast
Throughout the Year of the Discipleship, we’ll release podcast episodes that take a deeper dive into several aspects of discipleship.
